Consider this a public service announcement for those of you in the US - Tonight at 8, PBS is airing a documentary based on one of my favorite non-fiction books, The Botany of Desire: A Plant's-Eye View of the World by Michael Pollan. I will be furiously packing, so I'm not sure I'll be about to watch the whole thing, but I definitely will be recording it.
